With a 1.5” TFT screen and 3X digital zoom, this little Oregon Scientific camera retails at only $69.95 – a great price for the budget-minded or as an inexpensive way to take pictures when you go on trips. Several other inexpensive models can be viewed and purchased on their website, but in addition to thin size cameras that can go anywhere, another Oregon camera is the PV100=B Picture Viewer Digital Camera with 3.0 mega pixel photographs. This small digital camera also works as a digital video camera as well as a picture and movie viewer. All you need to do is turn the camera around in order to view your pictures or movie clips on the 3.5” color TFT screen. Cradle is included and can be used to recharge the batter or download images to your computer. In spite of this innovative technology of this camera, it is still only $249.95, rather cheap for the capabilities. Other than this particular model, all of the other Oregon Scientific digital cameras are priced under $100 making them great as a second travel camera or as a gift for a child.
Some Oregon camera accessories are available on their websites, but this particular company doesn’t seem to offer a great deal in that field, which stands to reason since they do not have a big market in cameras. These small models are perfect for the reporter to carry along, which is probably their intention when distributing these models. This may not necessitate the need for Oregon Scientific camera parts as none were seen on the website. With the small size and inexpensive price, it is likely that you can replace the camera cheaper than buying replacement parts other than a battery or the cradle.
If you have no experience with this manufacturer, spend some time reading Oregon camera reviews in order to get a feel of the quality of the cameras and the level or customer service and repair service. Even though it is an Oregon Scientific cheap camera, you don’t want to receive it only to find out that there are known problems with that particular model.
